Claude Humanizer

Anthropic's Claude family writes differently from ChatGPT. Where ChatGPT tends toward short bullets and structured listicles, Claude tends toward longer flowing prose with carefully balanced parallel structure. The signature is more sophisticated, but still recognizable.

How Claude writes differently

Claude is trained to produce prose that reads as thoughtful and considered. The output usually has longer sentences, more clauses per sentence, and a strong instinct for parallel structure: "X is one thing. Y is another. Z, however, is something else entirely." The rhythm is more even than ChatGPT's bulleted output, but in a way that produces low burstiness rather than high.

Claude also tends to qualify and contextualize. Where ChatGPT will state things directly, Claude will often hedge: "It is worth noting that...", "While it is true that..., it is also the case that...", "In a sense, this is both X and Y."

Claude draft
"It is worth noting that the question of remote work is genuinely nuanced. On one level, the data suggests productivity gains. On another level, what is striking is the cost to spontaneous collaboration. In a meaningful sense, this is both an efficiency story and a culture story."
Humanized
"Remote work cuts both ways. Productivity numbers went up. The hallway conversations that used to spark new projects mostly stopped. You can't optimize for both at once, and most companies pretending they can are kidding themselves."
Cut the qualifiers. Replace 'on one level / on another' with direct claims. Add a specific judgment. Length variance jumps.

A workflow for humanizing Claude

1
Run the humanizer
Restructures and substitutes the most-flagged signatures.
2
Cut half the qualifiers
It is worth noting that the data is somewhat mixed → The data is mixed.
3
Break the long sentences
A two-clause Claude sentence becomes two short sentences.
4
Add concrete specifics
Date, name, number, proper noun. Claude abstracts; humans anchor.
The both-and tic
Claude's strongest single tell is the 'both X and Y' construction. Replace at least one per paragraph with an asymmetric claim. Sometimes Y is just wrong, and saying so is more honest than the balanced phrasing.
